John Richert is a Managing Attorney at Richert Quarles, P.A. He received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stetson University in Deland, Florida in May 2013. While at Stetson, John participated in Stetson’s pro bono program and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Before attending Stetson, John attended the College of William and Mary located in Williamsburg, Virginia and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance. John was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2013.

John’s practice is focused on civil litigation and business law. He also has experience in landlord/tenant law, bankruptcy litigation, Florida administrative practice, and corporate law. In his practice, John takes special account of taking the most economical course of action for his clients. In some cases, it is more economical and achieves a faster result to work out a solution between parties without litigation. John believes that good communication between an attorney and his client is incredibly important. That’s why John strives to answer all calls and emails from clients on the same day and will never bill clients who call him with short questions. An attorney and a client are a team and John will always work to be a great teammate with his clients.

John is licensed to practice law in Florida, the U.S. Middle District Court of Florida, and the U.S. Southern District Court of Florida. He is currently a member of the Clearwater Bar Association.

Patrick D. Quarles

Patrick D. Quarles is a shareholder attorney at Richert Quarles P.A.. Patrick was admitted to the bar in 2013. He received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of law in Gulfport, Florida. While at stetson he participated in the Family Law Internship Program and interned for the City Attorney’s office in St. Petersburg, as well as the pro bono program. Before attending Stetson, Patrick worked for the Transportation Security Administration as a Supervisor and  attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C., Patrick received his Associate’s Degree from Pensacola Junior College (now Pensacola State College).

Upon being admitted to the bar, Patrick worked at al law office in Clearwater, Florida focusing in estate planning and tax law. He also worked for a credit card processing start-up company. In order to focus on practicing law and diversifying his practice areas, Patrick joined his former law school classmate, and Richert Quarles P.A. was born.

Patrick is a Florida Native. He was born in Pensacola. As a member of a military family he was afforded the opportunity to live in Japan and Maine before returning to Florida. Patrick lost his mother to cancer when he was 16 years old.

Patrick is a member the Delta Chi Fraternity, the Order of Omega Greek Honors society, and the Lambda Alpha National Collegiate Honors Society for Anthropology George Mason University. .

Patrick practices in estate planning, asset protection, probate, landlord tenant, pre-litigation, civil litigation, and general counsel for several local businesses. He brings his personal experiences to handle your matters with care and empathy.

Patrick is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is currently a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, Hillsborough Bar Association, and St. Petersburg Bar Association.
